This policy explains what STK Predictions ("we", "the app") collects, why, and the choices you have. The app is a free, skill-based football prediction game. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run leagues and score picks.
Information we collect
- Account identifier. When you first open the app we create an anonymous account (via Firebase Authentication) tied to your device, so your picks and leagues persist. It is not linked to your name or email.
- Profile. The nickname you choose.
- Gameplay data. Your predictions (result and score), the leagues you join or create, and the points calculated from your picks.
- Sign in with Apple (optional). If you choose to sign in, Apple provides a private identifier that lets us link your account across devices. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email", we only ever see the relay address.
We do not collect your contacts, location, photos, or advertising identifiers, and the app contains no third-party advertising.
How we use your information
- To run your account and keep your picks, leagues and standings.
- To calculate points and rank matchday, monthly and season leaderboards.
- To operate app features such as remote configuration of content (for example, event and tournament pages).
- To diagnose problems and keep the app working.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of processors to run the app:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore database, Remote Config) — stores your account, nickname, picks and league data.
- Apple — provides Sign in with Apple if you use it.
- football-data.org — supplies fixtures and match results. We send no personal data to them; we only read football data.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.
Data sharing
We do not sell your data. Your nickname and your picks for a match become visible to other members of a shared league after that match locks — this is a core part of the game. Nothing else about you is shared with other users.
Data retention
We keep your account and gameplay data while your account exists. If you delete your account, your profile, picks and league membership are removed. Aggregated, non-identifying records (for example, historical league standings) may remain.
Your choices and rights
You can edit your nickname at any time and delete your account and data from Settings → Delete account & data, or by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data; contact us to exercise them.
Children
STK Predictions is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
